River Rafting

On Saturday we went rafting down Provo river. It was me, Annette, My mom, and a bunch of people from her work. Anyways so it supposedly is like easy and relaxing and we were excited to go... So we started and they gave us a little orientation and me and annette started to get nervous cuz theres this bridge and you have to get out before it or else you can be flipped over and sucked in and they'd allreday had 2 accidents earlier that day from people that tried to go under the bridge... Anyways so we started and we didn't have a guide but we thought we'd be okay cuz i mean it was supposed to be like relaxing and not really dangerous and kinda slow. IT was really funny at first cuz our boat raft thing that had like 8 people in it well none of us really knew how to row except like 2 people so we kept like crashing into things! like the trees and bushes and stuff on the side when yr supposed to stay in the middle. So whenever we were about to crash we would all just lay down in the boat thing HAHA! So after we all had some scratches from that we kinda got the hang of it and then... dun dun dun! We saw the bridge and people getting out and it looked really scary but we were finally in the middle so we started rowing but we knew we weren't gonna make it so me and annette and the rest of the girls start freaking out! Um hello the water is deep and we didn't want to flip and be sucked in! Scary scary moment. Anyways so my mom hands me her fone and jumps out cuz she thought that she could hurry and pull the boat to the side. I mean its supposedly CALM! the second she jumps out Annette does too! she's like TRACY!!! AHHH!!! anyways then I jump over the boat cuz i was on the other side and jump in too (it seemed like a good idea at the time!) anyways it was a bad idea. WE were like imediatley were like swept away. It was soooooo scary. We seriously thought we were gonna die! it was going soooo fast there was no way we would have been able to get out! It was so scary! Anyways so we're like screaming our heads off and we go under the bridge and some people from our boat like fall out. Then we are just trying to stay afloat but its still like pushing us really fast. Then I hit like a ton of rocks I'm scraped up :( But finally we get out somehow when it calms down. Anyways then we had to run down the side of the river to catch up with the boat finally we make it and get in. Anyways we're injured and my moms fone is broken when i jumped out i gave it to someone who fell in so it was in the river and now its stupid. Thats why i won't have any pics cuz she has them all on there but i'll try to upload them ASAP. Anyways adventure, near death expereince.... not really relaxing but fun- i guess. Next time i'd rather go with a guide!
